Dying Light 2

Along with announcing the next (and final episode) of Dying 2 Know, Techland also released a brief new trailer for Dying Light 2 Stay Human. It focuses on two of the skill trees that players can invest in throughout their journey – Combat and Parkour – along with briefly showcasing some abilities. Check it out below.

In the Combat tree, there’s Block Charge where Aiden can charge at an enemy and knock them to the ground while blocking. This is particularly useful for shoving a foe off from a high place and using their body as a safety cushion (which pretty much kills them). There’s also Perfect Parry where parrying at the last moment will stagger an enemy and open them up to more damage.

For those seeking Parkour skills, Far Jump allows for springing off of obstacles to gain more jumping distance. Bash can be used to charge through obstacles and enemies without stopping while Tic Tac is your standard wall running skill. A pretty decent selection overall and each skill looks good. It should be interesting to see if any of them synergize with the +500 unique gear pieces.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is out on February 4th for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more gameplay footage on January 13th in the final episode of Dying 2 Know.
