No Gears 5 Campaign Gameplay
Gears 5 not receiving any new gameplay footage from its campaign was probably weirder. It’s out in September and while one can respect the development team for keeping things under wraps, why wait till just before release to show a new story mission? Other than that, there wasn’t a whole lot else to see. Escape mode was just another cinematic trailer (though plenty of gameplay footage has emerged from the show floor). We didn’t even see gameplay for multiplayer modes like Versus or Horde. So what was the point besides a release date announcement and to tease us further?
