Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which won Most Anticipated Game of 2024 at The Game Awards, also revealed its theme song in a new trailer. Composed by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu with vocals by Loren Allred, “No Promises to Keep” spotlights Aerith and evokes “Eyes on Me” from Final Fantasy 8. Check it out below.
The trailer showcases various things, from Biggs being alive to locations that players visit. Some more Synergy Abilities are showcased, with Tifa swinging Cait Sith like a hammer against enemies. Cid is also revealed for the first time and very much in line with his appearance in the original (though whether he’s playable is unknown).
