Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Square Enix has released a new update for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, addressing specific bugs that could interfere with one’s progress while improving stability. These progression blockers occurred “very occasionally” and “under specific conditions” but should now be fixed.

Other fixes are included for bugs that trigger in specific circumstances in combat or that cause information not to show up when playing Gambit Gears’ Stage 2 on Hard Mode. Display-related bugs have also been addressed, and players who couldn’t acquire photo frames despite fulfilling the required conditions should now be able to.

Check out the full patch notes below for more details. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is available for PS5 and has received extensive critical acclaim (check out our review, where we awarded it a 10 out of 10). Despite becoming the fourth best-selling game in the United States based on sales as of March, Square Enix president Takashi Kiryu revealed that it missed internal targets since it couldn’t achieve the momentum required at launch.
