Square Enix has announced that Luminous Productions’ free demo of Forspoken, currently available for PS5, will go live on PC. It will be available on Steam, Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store.
Unlike many of Square Enix’s other demos, like Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age, Forspoken’s demo drops you into a later part of the story. Players can run around, experiment with several different types of magic, complete tasks, and defeat a powerful boss. It’s also packed with options, like reducing the frequency of conversations between Frey and Cuff.
The demo received an update on PS5 to add button mapping and fix issues like text sizes. However, the timing of the PC demo’s release is a little odd, especially since no reviews for the PC version are available from various outlets. Regardless, the PS5 version is out now and has received mixed impressions – you can check out our review here for more details.
