Forza Horizon 4

Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 4 released in October 2018 but still stands as perhaps the best racing sim currently available. It’s received a number of content updates and expansions, besides the Seasons concept offering excellent replay value. So it’s perhaps no surprise that the title has had over 12 million players till date.

In the latest Forza Monthly, design director Jon Knoles revealed this figure. The monthly player count is also very strong at over four million players. Since Forza Horizon 4 is available on Xbox Game Pass, it’s tough to estimate how much of that translates into sales. Regardless, to remain one of the most popular racing games worldwide just a year later is no small feat.

You can check out GamingBolt’s official review for Forza Horizon 4 here. Though a new Forza title isn’t coming this year, Turn 10 Studios has confirmed that Forza Motorsport 8 is in development. Meanwhile, Playground Games also has an open world action RPG in development.
