Forza Horizon 5 Crosses 34 Million Lifetime Players

While Forza Motorsport is available and is the newest racing sim for Turn 10 Studios since 2017’s Forza Motorsport 7, Turn 10 Studios’ Forza Horizon 5 continues to smash records. The in-game player count has crossed 34 million players and continues to rise, as noted by Snap Blast PLAY on Twitter.

The last major player milestone for the open-world racer was 30 million in May 2023, so such a trajectory isn’t entirely unexpected. Forza Horizon 5 launched on November 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC and had the biggest first-week launch for an Xbox title and Game Pass history, amassing over ten million players.

While much of that is due to Game Pass, it’s currently the fastest-selling first-party Xbox game this generation in the UK. Check out our review for more details and why it’s so addictive here.

There have been updates and expansions for the title since its release, but a job listing from last year could hint at a sequel. Stay tuned for updates in the meantime.
