Genshin Impact’s latest update, Version 2.6 “Zephyr of the Violet Garden”, goes live tomorrow and adds Kamisato Ayato as a new character. The 5-star Hydro wielder is portrayed as calm and serene but beneath the surface, he has numerous plans unfolding. A new trailer highlights some of Ayato’s plans while an attempt is made on his life.
Ayato is a sword wielder and when charging his basic attack, he can dash forward with an Iai attack. His Elemental Skill creates a water illusion that explodes if an enemy is near or once its duration ends, dealing Hydro damage in an area. Ayato also enters the Takimeguri Kanka and hits enemies with quick strikes that deal Hydro AoE damage.
Finally, there’s his Elemental Burst “Kamisato Art: Suiyuu” which rains Bloomwater Blades and damages opponents in its radius while increasing one’s normal attack damage. A new “Collected Miscellany” should go live by tomorrow which goes into more details on Ayato’s abilities so stay tuned.
