miHoYo Games’ Genshin Impact will receive its next big update tomorrow which introduces Kamisato Ayaka as a new character. In a new trailer, we get a short peek at her abilities with the blade and the Cryo vision. Check it out below.
While a detailed demo of her various abilities, passives and Ultimate has yet to be revealed, Ayaka is already confirmed to be a katana wielding 5 star character that utilizes Cryo attacks. Along with multi-hit combos, she can also unleash a small snowstorm of sorts (which makes it easier to traverse water). All in all, it should be interesting to see what else Ayaka can do.
Ayaka will be available in a new character banner alongside Yoimiya tomorrow. Update 2.0’s main attraction, however, is the addition of the Inazuma region (or at least three of its isles). The Electro Archon has played a key role in the region’s prosperity but unrest is seemingly brewing under the Shogun. The update will add new quests, weapons, Artifacts and much more along with improved DualSense feedback on PS5 so stay tuned for more details when it goes live.
