Genshin Impact Update 1.4

Genshin Impact’s newest update is now live, bringing the Windblume Festival to PC, PS4, iOS and Android players. Though the update adds support for Rosaria, a new 4-star character, she’s not live just yet. Fortunately, Venti is back and there are increased drop chances for his banner.

“Invitation of Windblume” is the major event in this update and it’s available from March 19th to April 5th. It adds new challenges and quests, spread out over various Acts, which provide Festive Tour Tickets and Peculiar Collab Coupons. These can be used to purchase the Windblume Ode bow, “The Visible Winds” refinement material and more. Players will also earn Mora, character EXP materials and Primogems from completing the new quests.

New 4-star and 5-star weapons are available in addition to the Windblume Ode but the most intriguing feature are the Hangout Events. Unlocked at Adventure Rank 26, these allow for spending time with characters like Noelle, Barbara, Bennett and Chongyun. Each requires 2 Story Keys which can be earned from Daily Commissions. Eight new world quests are also coming and there’s a new Archon Quest and boss to face.
