It’s been a long wait for Genshin Impact’s next big content update, which adds Fontaine. There have been trailers with new characters and teases for what the new region has to offer. On August 4th at 7:30 AM (UTC-4), miHoYo Games will finally showcase Version 4.0, “As Light Rain Falls Without Reason”, in a new special program on Twitch.
It will offer “juicy details” about new content and developments in the upcoming update. Of course, you can also expect redemption codes and “other goodies” during the stream. The program airs later on YouTube at 8:30 AM (UTC-4).
As one of Teyvat’s seven major regions, Fontaine is home to the Hydro Archon, Focalors. It’s known for its advanced technology and a “special energy system”, which seems to be on the decline. Previous teasers have showcased diving and underwater exploration, a first for the title. Of course, there will also be new characters to roll for, so stay tuned for more details.
