Genshin Impact - Version 2.7

The next big update for Genshin Impact, Version 2.7 “Hidden Dreams in the Depths”, goes live tomorrow. It adds two new characters – Yelan and Kuki Shinobu – with the former being a 5-star Hydro user. miHoYo Games previously released a trailer displaying her espionage tactics and this time, it has a new one that highlights her panache and style. Check it out below.

Yelan is a bow user, attacking enemies from range, but one of her attacks involves dashing through foes, then hoisting them up with strings. Her Elemental Burst also seems to create numerous strings around her, then adds additional attacks to her bow strikes. We’ll find out more about her entire kit and passives when her Collective Miscellany trailer is live.

Yelan also features in Version 2.7’s new Archon Quest along with Yanfei, Kuki and Arataki Itto (with Xiao also seemingly involved). She’ll also have her own Story Quests and Hangout Quests. Stay tuned for more details when the patch notes go live.
