Genshin Impact - Yun Jin

Genshin Impact’s next big content drop, Update 2.4, arrives on January 5th and offers a hefty amount of content. Along with 5 star Cryo-wielder Shenhe, the update will also add Yun Jin as a playable character. As the director of the Yun-Han Opera Troupe, she has a Geo Vision and utilizes a spear for combat. Check out her character demo below.

While not detailing all of her abilities, the trailer does showcase several of them. Along with the usual spear attacks and a lunging Charged Attack, her Elemental skill “Opening Flourish” can either deal Geo damage when pressed or form a shield when held. It provides damage absorption based on Yun Jin’s maximum health along with 150 percent effectiveness against physical and elemental damage.

Her Elemental Burst is “Cliffbreaker’s Banner” and along with dealing AoE Geo damage, it also provides all nearby allies with the Flying Cloud Flag Formation. This essentially provides bonus damage to normal attacks based on her current defense. This provides a nice DPS option for defense-minded users.

Stay tuned for more details on Yun Jin’s abilities and passives in the coming days. Genshin Impact is currently available for PS4, PS5, PC, iOS and Android.
