Ghost of Tsushima update 1.1

The massive update 1.1 is coming to Ghost of Tsushima with four player co-op via Legends and New Game Plus for single-player. While Sucker Punch has already revealed a multiplayer class that can summon and pet spirit dogs (seen in the GIF below), it also confirmed a similar functionality for single-player. In New Game Plus, you can find the Charm of Canine Recruitment, one of the new powerful charms exclusive to the mode.

This allows for petting dogs and recruiting any hostile ones to your side. How many dogs can be recruited in this manner and whether they’ll die after taking too much damage remains to be seen. But it is a nice feature to have, especially for dog lovers. Now the question is – what about a similar charm to recruit bears?

Ghost of Tsushima’s update 1.1 is out on October 16th for PS4. Along with co-op and New Game Plus, it also adds armor load-outs and new armor dyes into the mix. You also get a brand-spanking new horse. Stay tuned for other details in the coming week.
