Grand Theft Auto Online may have garnered all the headlines in the past few months, but Rockstar Games hasn’t ignored the main story mode by a long shot. After releasing the Beach Bum DLC and promising more multiplayer additions in the coming months, including an online content editor, the publisher has revealed plans for campaign DLC in 2014.

“For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto 5, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor’s action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas.” The publisher also promised again that co-operative heists will be heading to GTA Online with “much more still to be announced”.

Other updates include the beta for Deathmatch & Race creation tools starting on December 10th and a new game type – Capture – to arrive later this month. Stay tuned for more details on content, especially regarding our “heroes” from the main story.
