GTA 5 PC

Remember when Rockstar Games teased story DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5, which seemingly got lost in the shuffle with all the Grand Theft Auto Online content? Today, during Take Two Interactive’s earnings report, an analyst actually inquired as to whether said DLC was in the pipeline.

Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick replied that, “No, we haven’t discussed any story-based downloadable content. We did talk about the Heists and they’ve been released.” As for the company having talked about such DLC around the game’s launch, Zelnick replied, “We have different recollections.”

Later, a Take Two rep clarified to GameSpot that, “Strauss misspoke during today’s call, as over a year ago Rockstar Games had said that they were exploring story mode content for Grand Theft Auto V; however, no further information has been released since. As always, we leave it to Rockstar Games to share information about their games when they’re ready.”

So for now, there’s no story DLC coming to GTA 5 but at least Grand Theft Auto Online will continue to see updates so stay tuned for more information.
