Grand Theft Auto 6 – Rockstar North Banner Change Could Hint At Announcement

Alternatively, the long-rumoured Bully 2 could be announced in the near future.

Grand Theft Auto 5

Rockstar North released the long-in-development Red Dead Redemption 2 last year. However, other big titles could be in development at the studio. According to Edinburgh Live, the office has removed its banner for Red Dead Redemption 2. On its own, this might not be significant but in the past, the banner for Grand Theft Auto 5 was removed when Red Dead Redemption 2 was in development.

The obvious theory is that an announcement for Grand Theft Auto 6, which has been rumoured for years, could be coming. However, recent rumours have pegged Bully 2 being announced and possibly releasing for the current and next gen consoles. Again, the banner change doesn’t mean that either is necessarily up next.

However, some major development could be going down at Rockstar North. We’ll have to wait and see in the coming months. In the meantime, Gamescom will have its Opening Night Live show today at 11 AM PT with reveals for Death Stranding, Gears 5 and much more. Stay tuned for more details.
