Rockstar Games’ latest content update for Grand Theft Auto Online, The Contract, is now available. It offers a new story that features Grand Theft Auto 5’s Franklin Clinton, years after the campaign’s fallout. Other returning characters include Lamar Davis and Chop with the new missions focusing on retrieving Dr. Dre’s stolen phone.
Along with new tracks, players can venture to Record A Studios to hang out with the legend. A new office can also be acquired which provides vehicle storage and options for adding an Armory, Vehicle Workshop and much more. Players will need to complete Security Contracts for Franklin, which eventually unlocks Payphone Hits aka assassinations.
Three new weapons – the Heavy Rifle, Stun Gun and Compact EMP Launcher – can be unlocked with the latter two being available exclusively in the Armory. Seven new vehicles like the Lampadati Cinquemila, Pfister Astron SUV, Pegassi Ignus and more can also be acquired. You can even modify them with new gadgets like machine guns, a Missile Lock-On Jammer and more. Check out the trailer below to see the content in action.
