Guilty Gear Strive

The closed beta for Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Strive is coming up tomorrow. In preparation of the same, starter videos for each of the available fighters were made available. Yesterday’s videos saw Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske detailed – today’s videos are all about May and Axl Low. Check them out below.

May, as expected, uses dolphins to attack from afar and rushdown foes. She can still pull off some sick combos in tandem with her giant anchor though. Axl Low is also pretty good at fighting from a distance with his sickles, with the low Sickle Flash likely to be a headache for many new players.

Other starter videos are coming this week – Chipp Zanuff and Potemkin will be revealed tomorrow while Faust will be showcased on April 17th. The closed beta will be available from April 16th to 19th. Though it features delay-based implementation for online play, rollback netcode will be available when the game launches in fall 2020. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
