Guilty Gear Strive

Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Strive is coming up in less than two months and will have another beta for fans to jump into. In the meantime, the developer has outlined the various alternate color outfits that its roster can be adorned in. Ultimate Edition owners get some sleek “Special Colors” which provide black clothing with neon blue highlights for each character.

There’s also the “Additional Color Pack”, which is paid DLC that provides colors for the base roster and five post-launch characters. With each character receiving five different outfit colors and 20 characters in total, that’s 100 additional outfit colors. The DLC is included with Season Pass 1 (also included in the Ultimate Edition).

Finally, those who purchase any edition of the game before June 25th will receive “Special” colors for Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske. These essentially reverse their color schemes while also changing the appearance of their respective elemental attacks (with Sol using lightning and Ky using fire). It’s a pretty nice touch and speaks to the long-running rivalry between the two.

Guilty Gear Strive is out on June 11th for PS4, PS5 and PC with Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners receiving early access on June 8th.
