IO Interactive announced earlier this year that it would keep the Hitman 3 train going with plans for a second year of planned post-launch content. A lot of that has been the regular monthly updates bringing new Elusive Targets, cosmetics, Featured Contracts, and more, but the developer confirmed a while back that July would also see the launch of a new map for the game. Now we know when exactly that map is coming.

Ambrose Island will be added to Hitman 3 on July 26, and it will be a free update for everyone who already owns the game. The map is a tropical island in a hidden cove in the Andaman Sea, occupied by a dangerous pirate syndicate and all the secrets you’d expect to go along with that. It’ll bring new targets, gameplay opportunities, challenges, unlockable rewards, and more. Get a look at it in the trailer below.

Hitman 3 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia, and as a cloud-exclusive release on the Nintendo Switch. The roguelike Freelancer mode will be added to the game later this year.
