miHoYo Games’ free-to-play turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail is now available on PS5. It launched for PC, iOS and Android earlier this year and crossed 20 million downloads on its first day. Check out the trailer for the PS5 version below.
Set in a sci-fi universe, Honkai: Star Rail focuses on Caelus/Stelle as they roam the universe with The Astral Express. While resolving disasters caused by Stellarons, they also investigate the mysterious Aeons. Why is Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction, interested in the protagonist? At this point, it’s unknown, but there is much to learn.
Honkai: Star Rail runs in native 4K on PS5 and utilizes solid-state drive for fast loading times. For more details on the game, check out our review here. The release coincides with the launch of Version 1.4, “Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream”, which sees new characters Jingliu, Topaz and Guinaifen added to the game. There are also new Companion Missions, Aetherium Wars, and much more to experience.
