Horizon Zero Dawn Is Already On Steam’s Top Seller List

PC players are more than willing to embrace the late release.

Roughly 3 years ago, Sony and Guerilla Games graced us with Horzion: Zero Dawn. The open world game was a unique game that mixed in fantasy elements with robotic dinosaurs, and was largely well received. The game is now finding a second life on PC, and what a life it’s already finding.

Before writing this article, just hours ago we learned the official PC requirements and release date for the port, coming to both Epic Games Store and Steam. And already, at the time of writing this, the game has skyrocketed to the top selling game on Steam. That’s at full price, during a high profile sale. Most likely, it won’t stay up there long, especially since a lot of big titles are on sale, but says a lot about how accepting PC players are going to be even if this one is a tad late to the show.

Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition launches for PC on August 7th and includes the base game and The Frozen Wilds expansion. It is, of course, also available on PlayStation 4.
