Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash developer Heart Machine is preparing its next title, Hyper Light Breaker, for early access launch. However, it also has a new project in collaboration with Devolver Digital, to be revealed during the next Devolver Direct.
A short teaser is available, which you can check out below. It sees a lone figure with a cloak and distinguishable horns; the background features some massive pillar of light while the surrounding city is seemingly in ruins. It’s in keeping with the aesthetic of Heart Machine’s previous titles, though it may be a new IP.
Devolver Direct airs on June 7th at 5 PM PT, so stay tuned for updates. As for Hyper Light Breaker, it launches this Summer for PC early access. Its connection to Hyper Light Drifter is vague, but combat is similar, as players explore different biomes and defeat bosses to take on the Abyss King. Check out the combat and exploration alongside some mini-bosses that could ambush you.
