Inscryption

Creepy deck builder/card battler/escape room title Inscryption is now available on PC. Published by Devolver Digital and developed by Daniel Mullins, who worked on the critically acclaimed Pony Island and The Hex, Inscryption is about being stuck in a terrifying cabin. A strange unknown person challenges them to play card games and whenever they lose…well, the consequences aren’t pretty.

The card games themselves are very strange – some of the cards are sentient and warn the player about strange person. As the player gets up from the table and explores the room, they can complete various puzzles to learn more about their predicament. And thus far, it looks like there’s more to the game than just simply card battles.

Inscryption is currently available via Steam on PC for $17.99. It has a 10 percent launch discount until November 1st. Stay tuned for more details on other Devolver Digital titles (like Trek to Yomi and Wizard with a Gun) in the coming months.
