Kingdom Hearts 3 16

As a series, Kingdom Hearts can be a little tough to get into. The mainline story is complicated enough, but it gets a little overwhelming with spin-offs, mobile titles, and movie-lite tales such as Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover. With Kingdom Hearts 3 on the horizon, that shouldn’t matter – Square Enix is inviting everyone to stand together with Sora and friends for the final battle.

Rounding off the saga as Sora and the seven guardians of Light plan to fight Master Xehanort and Organization XIII, Kingdom Hearts 3 features plenty of notable Disney cameos. Big Hero 6, Tangled, Frozen, Toy Story, Hercules and many other worlds with their respective characters are present. Even characters like Ariel from the Little Mermaid seemingly act as Summons to fight for Sora.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is out on January 25th, 2019 in Japan and January 29th, 2019 worldwide for Xbox One and PS4. If you’re keen on catching up with the story (and own a PS4), then you’re in luck. Titles like Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue should help you catch up.
