Amidst the litany of upcoming single-player narrative-driven games based on Marvel properties, NetEase Games is attempting to stand out from the pack with its multiplayer hero shooter Marvel Rivals, and after impressive early showings, the company has confirmed that the game is going to be available on more platforms than just PC, which was the only one officially announced until now.
NetEase has announced that upon launch, Marvel Rivals will also be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Meanwhile, the company has revealed that it will also be holding a closed beta test for the game at some point in July.
On top of that, NetEase has also revealed two new playable characters for the game in the form of fan-favourite antiheroes Venom and Adam Warlock. Meanwhile, players on PS5 will also get an exclusive Scarlet Spider costume for Spider-Man.
