Marvel Rivals - Black Widow

After Squirrel Girl and Iron Fist, NetEase’s Marvel Rivals has released a new trailer for Black Widow. The former assassin turned Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. member relies on long-range sniping like Widowmaker from Overwatch. Check out some of her abilities below.

The most notable difference is that Natasha doesn’t have to charge her shots – even body shots deal significant damage. She can also grapple, kick opponents back and switch to dual batons to fight off melee attacks. Her Ultimate will slow enemies in an area, allowing her to line up headshots more easily.

Given the backlash received by Widowmaker over the years, will Black Widow meet a similar fate? Time will tell, but given the number of Duelists, there should be several counters to her playstyle.

Marvel Rivals launches on December 6th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Two more characters – Wolverine and Cloak and Dagger – remain to be showcased, so stay tuned, and check out the hero shooter’s performance details on PS5 and PS5 Pro.
