NetEase Games’ Marvel Rivals will have a closed beta later this month for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Though he was already revealed and available in the closed alpha, a new trailer is available for Spider-Man, highlighting his gameplay and alternate outfits. Check it out below.
While reluctant to fight against familiar allies, Peter Parker’s involvement in the whole Timestream Entanglement conflict is to safeguard the Web of Life and Destiny (a whole other story on its own). As a Duelist, he can wall-run and web-sling, instantly propelling towards opponents.
Spider-Man can also pull enemies towards him, launching them in the air for combos. Two of his alternate outfits include Spider-Punk and the Bombastic Bag-Man, with the latter essentially a paper bag over his casual attire.
Marvel Rivals’ closed beta starts on July 23rd and features Adam Warlock and Venom as new playable characters. It doesn’t have a release date but will support cross-play at launch.
