Marvel’s Avengers has a long and hard road ahead of it as it attempts to curry favour with fans and expand its dwindling player base, and while new events and major expansions (like the Black Panther one) are obviously going to vital for that, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have some more small-scale ideas for the same as well. One of those is skins for all the playable characters in the game inspired by their Marvel Cinematic Universe counterparts, and it seems those have leaked prematurely.
Over on Twitter, @mmmmmmmmiller has posted a bunch of images taken from the game showing MCU skins that seem to have gone live before they were supposed to, making them discoverable by some players. Haekeye’s Ronin look from Avengers: Endgame, and skins from the movie for the Hulk, Captain America, and Black Widow have all made it into the game. Take a look below.
Unfortunately, Crystal Dynamics confirmed recently that MCU skins in the game would not be unlockable through gameplay, and will be locked behind microtransactions.
Marvel’s Avengers is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
Unreleased Avengers Endgame Black Widow suit coming to Marvel's Avengers. Please keep in mind that the hair inaccuracy may be a byproduct of the glitch that allowed this to be discovered. pic.twitter.com/hWg8sHF62X

Full disclosure: I have absolutely no idea why 3 (plus?) MCU skins were pushed with 1.6 when surely 1.6.1 is coming before all of these will release. Lot of questions. But anyways, uh… Endgame Ronin and Captain America, I guess. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ pic.twitter.com/ZPnXjf1c5S

MCU Hulk skin in Marvel's Avengers. (Right: Reference)
I wish I could find the original source on this (apparently it's a private Facebook group) but either way, I'm leaning toward real. It's damn convincing, and Hulk has had this issue (wrong outfit rendering) in the past. pic.twitter.com/vkIouDcPVK
