Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers has been seeing its fair share of struggles since launch, despite digital sales being fairly good. So at the very least, fans can purchase some of its cosmetics for a reduced price. After an in-game event that discounted the prices on takedowns and emotes by 50 percent, Crystal Dynamics confirmed (as noted by PC Gamer) that those would be the new prices going forward.

It’s unknown whether this will apply to costumes as well – they’re not mentioned but are still discounted. If you were planning on splurging real money for any cosmetics, now might be the best time. Or at least until the hypothetical next discount that occurs in another two months.

Marvel’s Avengers is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia. It was slated to launch for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 next week but those versions have been delayed into 2021. New story content centered on Kate Bishop as the latest hero has also been delayed. As always, stay tuned for more details on a new release date.
