Capcom’s latest financial results contained updated numbers for Monster Hunter World, and suffice it to say that the action RPG continues to be a huge success. Worldwide sales have passed 11 million units, and helped in improving Capcom’s business performance as a whole.

Monster Hunter World performed very well on Xbox One and PS4 at launch, selling 8.3 million units by July 2018. When the PC version launched, it sold about 2 million copies within the first few days. In October, Monster Hunter World would become the first Capcom game to ever ship 10 million units and that phenomenal success continues with its recent sales milestone.

The upcoming collaboration quest with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Arch-Tempered Nergigante hunt will be the final updates for Monster Hunter World, but a full-fledged expansion is also coming. Iceborne will introduce a brand new continent with new monsters, new gear, new mechanics, and a new quest rank that might be G-Rank. It’s out in Autumn 2019.
