The rumored Nintendo Switch 2 has been making waves lately due to reports of an internal delay to the first quarter of 2025. After Nikkei corroborated the same and revealed the new launch date as March 2025, leaker Midori further validated it by stating, “It is correct information.”

Midori is known for leaking several announcements for Atlus, including Persona 3 Reload and the launch of Metaphor: ReFantazio in 2024 before the official announcement. They’ve also spoken recently about the upcoming reboots for Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi, revealing that remakes for the first games in both franchises are allegedly coming first.

Of course, plans could always change for Nintendo, especially with Bloomberg noting a March 2025 release at the earliest. An announcement for the Switch 2 was previously rumored for this March after months of speculation about its specs, but that could now happen sometime in June. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
