Path of Exile Synthesis

After numerous delays and uncertainties, Grinding Gear Games’ free-to-play action-RPG Path of Exile is finally available for PlayStation 4. It launches with the most recent Challenge League, Synthesis, and the First Blood Supporter Pack. This contains 200 points to spend on various microtransactions, an additional stash tab, and the weapon effect “First Blood”.

Unlike the PC version however, Path of Exile on PS4 will automatically choose the most appropriate server gateway for you. The developer is currently working on a gateway selection feature, which should be available “very soon”. So if a gateway happens to go down or performs slowly, you’ll have other options available.

Though Synthesis is the only League available, it comes with Solo Self-Found and Hardcore variants. Previous Leagues like Betrayal, Delve, Bestiary, and Incursion have been rolled into the base game, so PS4 players already have tons of content to start with, including all the new skills, Unique items, and changes that Synthesis has added.
