Persona series - Xbox

Atlus has revealed some new details for Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden ahead of their launches on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC next month. In Japan, each will cost 1,980 yen, which is less than $15 (though the US retail price will likely be closer to $19.99).

Both titles sport high-resolution visuals and “smooth controls.” Persona 4 Golden is already available for PC via Steam, so that should provide a good measure of what to expect in terms of presentation. In both games, you can now select the difficulty from the beginning instead of the second playthrough with “Very Easy” and “Easy” recommended for the story.

Along with save points, players can also use Quick Save to record their progress at any point. Persona 4 Golden is also getting a new Album Feature, letting you look back on previous scenes and even choose different dialogue choices.

Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden launch on January 19th, 2023, for Xbox platforms, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC (with the latter coming to Microsoft Store and Game Pass).
