Persona 3 Portable is a role playing game developed and published by Atlus.
It is an enhanced and expanded port of the original Persona 3.
The fanciest edition available for Persona 3 Portable also includes a 1:1 replica of the game's iconic Evoker in a light-up shadow box.
It's been claimed that alongside Persona 6, Atlus is working on a Persona 3 remake, with the latter expected to release first.
Both ports feature 60 FPS options on all platforms and 120 FPS options on Xbox Series X. They're also playable on Game Pass.
Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden's Xbox Series X versions also supposedly "run flawlessly with Quick Resume support."
Microsoft has confirmed that the first wave of January additions for the subscription service doesn't include any newly-announced titles.
Each title retails for $19.99 and is available in a bundle for $39.49. Persona 5's Morgana also explains the premise for both in a new video.
In addition to high-resolution visuals, each game allows for changing difficulty from the beginning and saving anywhere with Quick Save.
Both titles will also be available for Game Pass and serve as remasters for the original games with quality-of-life improvements.
A release date announcement could be coming soon, perhaps at Tokyo Game Show 2022, where Atlus has already confirmed its appearance.
Atlus has announced (at long last) that in addition to Xbox and PC, the Persona series will also be headed to the Nintendo Switch.
A journalist has claimed that the rumoured upcoming Nintendo Direct will be focused on third party titles, including announcements for Persona, Mario + Rabbids, and more.
The Persona series is finally going multiplat, with Xbox and PC releases recently having been confirmed, but it seems there's more in the pipeline that hasn't yet been announced.
Atlus has confirmed in a recently sent out press release that in addition to Xbox and Game Pass, the Persona series is also headed to PlayStation and Steam.
All three titles will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Persona 5 Royal will be the first to launch on October 21st.
Various reports and leaks point towards Persona 3, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal being at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase today.
A prominent leaker claims that Atlus is working on a multiplatform remaster of Persona 3 Portable, which originally launched for the PSP over a decade ago.
No word yet on whether Persona 5 is also inbound for PC.
I almost want this to happen more than whatever Persona 5R is.
