PlayStation’s London Studio, known for The Getaway franchise and recent VR title Blood and Truth, is hiring for its next title. As previous listings have indicated, this is an online title and will be coming to PlayStation 5. Positions currently open include Lead Character Artist, Lead Technical Artist and Senior Gameplay AI Programmer among others.
Though there are no hints of the title’s genre (or whether it’s exclusive to PlayStation VR), experience in triple-A development is a must. The Senior Level/Mission Designer also indicates balancing and fine-tuning “the progression, challenges, and rewards within your levels” as part of one’s work. While this could apply to any number of genres, it’s possible that the studio provides more of a co-op experience as opposed to PvP.
Nevertheless, it’s committed to quality and “putting the right team together to help take us forward.” We’ll need to wait for more details in the meantime but this isn’t the only big title Sony has in development. Artist AVA recently revealed that she’s written a song for a big PlayStation remake that will be announced in December (which is when The Game Awards takes place). Stay tuned in the meantime.
