Sony has been a little inconsistent with revealing details about PlayStation VR2. The next-gen headset had some games revealed during this month’s State of Play like Horizon Call of the Mountain (while titles like Resident Evil 4 remake get exclusive content for the same). But the price, availability and release date are still up in the air.

At the very least, we know what the hardware looks like in real life. Bit Planet Games, which developed the Ultrawings titles, accidentally posted an image of the headset on its Twitter. Though the tweet has since been removed, plenty of mirrors exist (like this one on Reddit).

Overall, the PSVR2 and its haptic controllers look exactly like the official images released thus far. As for when fans can get their hands on it, various rumors and reports have indicated a 2023 release. Even developers like Skydance Interactive indirectly confirmed that it will launch next year. All that’s left is an official announcement and price so stay tuned in the coming months.
