Famitsu has released the latest weekly data for software and hardware sales in Japan. Where Triangle Strategy and Gran Turismo 7 had chart-topping debuts last week, this week, they’ve both fallen down the order. Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes the top spot again, with over 34,000 units sold, while the PS4 version of Elden Ring follows in second place, with over 30,000 units sold. Those two were also the best-selling games in Japan in February.
Triangle Strategy, in first place last week, falls to No. 4, selling another 17,000 units, while the PS4 and PS5 versions of Gran Turismo 7 are in at No. 3 and No. 8 respectively, collectively selling over 32,000 units. There are a couple of new releases in the charts as well, with .hack//G.U. Last Recode and kart racer Chocobo GP at No. 7 and No. 6 respectively.
On the hardware front, the Nintendo Switch is once again the best-selling console of the week, holding strong with over 98,000 units sold. The PS5 has seen something of a dip, with over 16,000 units sold during the week.
