Horizon: Zero Dawn

Guerilla’s upcoming new project for the PlayStation 4 Horizon: Zero Dawn looks innovative as well as awesome. It comes as no surprise that resolution and frame rate are incredibly important to gamers, and with the recent foul ups by RockSteady and Ubisoft, technical stuff is becoming more and more of a pressing issue.

However aiming for more consistent framerates of 30 FPS might be a good idea as gamers will have a better experience. Guerrilla revealed Horizon: Zero Dawn at E3 and promised that the game will run at 1080P with 30FPS. However is there a chance that the developers may push the game to 60fps? Guerrilla’s Mathijs De Jonge responded on Twitter that “for now we’re happy with 1080p/30fps and the vast amount of content we’re squeezing in.”

He also ensured that the frame rate won’t drop below 30fps. Let’s just hope when D-day comes, the team will be able to impress us and most importantly the players.
