The listing also points to it being for next gen.

Remedy’s Control was an incredible game from 2019 that felt like it flew under the radar for many. But apparently the game was a key reason for doubling the revenue for their publisher’s parent company, so maybe it wasn’t so under the radar. Now, it seems a sequel could potentially already be in the works.

A new job listing from the developer is looking for a Senior Producer in a key role in what they describe as a working for “Remedy’s Control franchise.” While not explicitly saying a sequel there, obviously, it’s hard to have a franchise with just one title. It also seems to hint at it being for next gen consoles with the statement, “stay aware of industry standards, both in terms of methodology and quality, and help team members stay on par or ahead of them when necessary.” You can check the full listing through here.

Control is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and has been confirmed to be coming for PS5 and Xbox Series X at some point. The game also has more DLC coming, though no date has been set.
