Resident Evil 4 Remake - VR Mode

Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 Remake received a new trailer during PlayStation’s latest State of Play, focusing on VR Mode. It’s a free addition to the game and arrives this Winter for PlayStation VR2. Check out the new trailer below.

VR Mode translates several of the mechanics into first-person with actual hand movements. Instead of pressing a button to parry Krauser’s slashes, you’ll orient a knife to block them. While sniping, you’ll manually operate the bolt-action rifle for the next shot. Fans of dual-wielding guns from Resident Evil Village can also look forward to its stylish return.

A proper release date is still due, so stay tuned for more details in the coming months. VR Mode will be at the Tokyo Game Show 2023 from September 21st to 24th, so expect more gameplay. Resident Evil 4 Remake is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. You can check out our official review here.
