An Outbreak sequel, perhaps?

Capcom have been asking their Resident Evil ambassadors to test out a new game in the series in both Japan and in the US, and recently, they teased that game, currently being called Project Resistance. That game is going to be officially unveiled in September, and will also be playable at the Tokyo Game show shortly after its announcement.

Before that announcement though, it seems some information can be gleaned about what sort of project we’re looking at, thanks to a bunch of leaked images via a a YouTube thumbnail preview site for the game’s announcement trailer (via Reddit). Those who’re expecting an announcement for either Resident Evil 8 or Resident Evil 3 Remake will probably be disappointed. The images, which you can check out below, show four separate characters- and it looks like it might be some sort of a four player multiplayer experience. Perhaps a Resident Evil Outbreak sequel? It’s possible.

Either way, we’ll find out soon enough, so stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we’ll keep you updated on any and all new info that comes our way.
