Resident Evil Village

Along with announcing the remake of Resident Evil 4 at last, Capcom also revealed that Resident Evil Village is coming to PlayStation VR2. Check out the first trailer below.

Set in Castle Dimitrescu, it showcases the first major area in the titular village, from scouring the dungeon to evading Lady D’s Daughters. The first-person gameplay transitions extremely well to PlayStation VR2. Gameplay mechanics like wielding a shotgun or knife in one hand and a handgun in another are showcased, providing a unique new dimension to combat.

No release window was provided for the PlayStation VR2 version, so stay tuned for more details in the meantime. Resident Evil Village is currently available for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia. Check out our review here for more details. It’s set to receive some new story DLC this year though Capcom has yet to confirm a release date for the same.
