We’ve seen quite a bit of Saints Row since its official reveal a few months ago, and with every little bit that we’ve seen of it so far, the reboot has looked more and more like an exciting prospect. And even though it was recently delayed from its previously planned February 2022 launch by a few months, it doesn’t look like Volition and Deep Silver are taking their foot off the gas where marketing for the game is concerned.
It’s been confirmed that later today at The Game Awards, we’ll be seeing a new gameplay trailer from Saints Row. The brief clip attached to the tweet that confirmed the same seems to be focusing on cosmetic aspects with the protagonist and drivable vehicles, but of course, that doesn’t necessarily capture the scope of the whole trailer. Either way, those looking forward to the game should keep an eye out.
Saints Row joins a growing list of games that have been confirmed for an appearance at The Game Awards later today, including Steelrising, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and the next Sonic game. Stay tuned for all of those reveals and more.
Saints Row is scheduled to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 23.
Looking forward to showing you a brand new gameplay trailer from @saintsrow at #TheGameAwards! Buckle up, tomorrow is gonna be a ride! pic.twitter.com/q1WbfWsnLZ
