Samurai Shodown

Almost two years after the title initially released on Xbox One and PS4, SNK’s Samurai Shodown is finally coming to Steam. The developer confirmed that the PC version would be out on June 14th along with a new DLC character Shiro Tokisada Amakusa. This will be the third character in Season Pass 3 after Cham Cham and Hibiki Takane.

Samurai Shodown has released on numerous other platforms, including Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia and Xbox Series X/S. However, its PC version has only been available on the Epic Games Store. No indication of a Steam release was ever provided but it seems the exclusivity agreement for the PC version is ending soon.

You can check out our review for the base game here. Following Amakusa’s release, there will be only one character left for Season Pass 3. SNK had previously confirmed it to be a character from Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear series but hasn’t revealed which. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
