SloClap’s single-player martial arts title Sifu recently received a bunch of new details, not the least of which includes moving its release date up by to weeks. We’ve learned more about the aging and death mechanics along with how players discover important information in each run. Fortunately, that won’t be all – the official Twitter has confirmed that there will be even more to share before launch.

In fact, starting in December, there will be hands-on previews of the title which means even more extensive gameplay. Sifu is all about taking down key targets with the power of martial arts with skill and improvisation going a long way. And if you’re good enough, then it can be beaten without ever dying or aging (though executive producer Pierre Tarno felt that they were necessary for fully learning the combat system).

Sifu is currently in development for PS4, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. It releases on February 8th 2022 so stay tuned for even more details ahead of launch.
