SoulCalibur 6 Nightmare

Bandai Namco continues to update us with character trailers for SoulCalibur 6, the highly anticipated sequel in its weapon fighter series, and this one is about Nightmare.

Nightmare has been a huge mainstay of the series, possessing the corrupted Soul Edge and taking over the otherwise noble Siegfried in the process. This trailer features gameplay and information from producer Motohiro Okubo who talks about the work that went into Nightmare’s Critical Edge. If you’re at all interested in heavy hitters with strong range, Nightmare is your hook-up.

SoulCalibur 6 has a bunch of other confirmed characters like Kilik, Sophitia, Mitsurugi and new fighter Grøh. We recently learned that Zasalmel and Ivy are coming to the game but there’s obviously room for more. There’s no word yet on when SoulCalibur 6 releases but it was reported to be 70 percent complete in December 2017 so it likely won’t be long now. The game is coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 but isn’t currently planned for the Nintendo Switch.
