Remember Stellar Blade? Announced in 2021 as Project Eve and re-revealed in 2022 with its new name, Korean developer Shift Up’s upcoming hack-and-slash title was slated for launch in 2023. If it weren’t obvious enough that it wasn’t going to launch this year, Sony has officially confirmed a delay to 2024.

A recent PlayStation Blog post highlighting the platform’s 2024 releases lists the title for the new year. There’s no further information on its release window (or the reason for the delay), and updates since the developer officially became a second-party PlayStation partner have been wanting. Hopefully, there will be more details when next year kicks off.

Stellar Blade is a PS5 exclusive set in the far future, with a powerful enemy called Naytibas wreaking havoc on Earth. It’s up to protagonist Eve to stop them while the remnants of humanity escape. Thus far, the gameplay has been fast-paced and cinematic, with some imposing bosses. Check it out here.
