Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition

Through all the ups and downs, Capcom continues to support Street Fighter 5. It released Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition earlier this year, packing in all of the content released thus far, while adding new characters like Seth from Street Fighter 4. A new season pass is on the way though, and next week, the developer will reveal who can be expected.

In a recent tweet, Capcom confirmed that there would be a Summer Update live stream on August 5th at 10 AM PT. Along with character reveals for Season 5, there will also be esports updates and special guests. The stream will broadcast on YouTube and Twitch, so make sure to tune in.

Thus far, we know that the next season pass will add five new characters and three new stages. Returns are to be expected, but any brand new fighters would be interesting, especially this late into the game’s life-cycle. Stay tuned for more details next week, and in the meantime, check out our review for Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition here.
